Welcome to my Lookbook

Here are some of my favorite creations that I’ve made over the years. You’ll not only see me, but also my family, wearing my work.

Meet my two biggest supporters, my parents, Paul and Sue. I made them an ‘Ie Faitaga and a Maxi Dress to match as formal wear for a funeral. I love you, Mom and Dad!

These pieces are a tribute to the Mau Movement that took place in Samoa during the first half of the 20th century. I’d like to thank my dad for educating me on the movement, as it serves as a major part of Samoa’s political independence. I value learning more about my roots.

This is an early ‘Ie Faitaga version I made for my dad. I incorporated appliqué on the shirt pocket you see here. I love being able to mix sewing techniques from the quilting world into my garments.

This is a three-piece outfit. I used the same yardage of fabric to create the bucket hat, shorts, and tote bag here. Not to mention the bag and bucket hat being reversible. My dad definitely tests my limits when it comes to seeing the different projects I’m capable of making. Thanks, Dad!

This is my dad and my papa sporting custom ‘Ie Faitagas I made for each of them. There’s nothing like being able to extend my love through sewing to my family.

Covered almost head to toe in Anaiya Made This, we absolutely had to have a matching set for a family reunion! If I knew how to make shoes, best believe I would have made those too.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, my family means everything to me. I made a complete set for my family to wear during Easter Sunday at church. I give all the glory to God for blessing me with the sewing ability I get to use today.
